CAREERS – CAPACITY BUILDING – TECHNOLOGY

Developing a highly skilled workforce to meet future needs in Transportation

Calling all South Carolina HBCU students and recent graduates. Are you looking for a career in transportation with the Federal Government? Well, the U.S. Department of Transportation is looking for current students and recent graduates in business, engineering, mathematics, biology, criminal justice, and many more. The Institute of Business, Environment, Communication, and Transportation at South Carolina State University is hosting a One-DOT University Transportation Summit on September 6 and 7, 2023. The Summit will provide an opportunity for students from the seven HBCUs from South Carolina to learn, discuss, and network around education, careers, research, technology, and partnering opportunities. The Department of Transportation wants to hire students from various disciplines. So, students should bring their resumes to take advantage of any opportunity that may arise. There is no cost to attend the event, however, registration is required. To register for the event, visit our website at http://thescsu.net/nextgen-transportation. And for any questions, email SUMMIT2023@thescsu.net.
